of Program Conducted by Scouts & Guides
The scouts and
guides department under the incharge of Mrs.Meenakshi Mate
conducted the following events:
·
In April 08 all scouts and guides were organized into
Patrols. Scouts:14 Patrols(8members each) and
guides
formed 4 Patrols(6 members each).
·
Conducted Pravesh Sopan Test in April 08.
Scouts and guides gave
colorparty welcome to
all V.I.Ps onAnnualfunction day inApril 08.
·
On17April08, the birth anniversary of the Father of
Indian Constitution BharatRatna Dr.B.R.Ambedkar was celebrated in the morning assembly. Mrs.M.Mate gave a
gave a speech on the occasion and also organized conducted
the programme. All scouts &guides,
students,teachers,Principal Mr.Hari Singh were all present
in the programme.The Principal garlanded the portrait of
Ambedkar and lighted the lamp and also gave a speech on
the occasion.

World Earth Day on 22nd April,08 was
organized and conducted by Mrs. M. Mate in the morning
Assembly. All scouts and guides participated in the tree
plantation program.
·
International Day Against Drug Abuse
on 26 June2008 Mrs.M.Mate gave a speech to create
awareness among the students on the topic in the morning
assembly.
·
World Forest Day on 30June2008 was observed in the
Vidyalaya by all scouts and guides and all students
Mrs.M.Mate spoke on the topic and inspired all scouts and
guides and students to plant flowering plants in
the morning
assembly.
·
World Heritage Day
on 11July2008 , was observed
·
Conducted
Pratham Sopan Test in July 08.
·
On 15th Aug, 08
the scouts and guides saluted the National Flag and
welcomed guests and maintained discipline in the
Vidyalaya. They also performed a group song (Patriotic
Song) and also performed a bridge formation activity by
scouts on the day as trained by the guide captain and
scout masters.
·
Sadhbhavana Divas on 20 Aug08, was observed by all
scouts and guides in the S&G
class. Mrs.M.Mate,Guide
Captain& Mr.Vijay Prakash Scout
Captain spoke on the occasion.Some guides also spoke on
sadbhavana.
·
Teacher’s Day on 5 Sept o8, was observed by all
scouts and guides along with all students& teachers in
the vidyalaya
in the morning assembly.
·
World Literacy Day on 8th
Sept 08, was observed Mrs.M.Mate spoke on the
importance of literacy.
Scouts
and guides gave colorparty welcome to the inspection team
in 1st round
of Annual inspection day on 20th Sept, 08.
·
Pachmarhi Day on 10 Sept 08 was observed.Mrs.M.Mate
gave an account of Pachmarhi to create
awareness of the place.
·
International Day of Peace- 16 Sept.08-was observed
in the Scouts & guides class-Mrs.M.Mate spoke on
Importance of
peace.
·
Tritiya Sopan Testing Camp-at K.V.Duliajan on
26.9-29.9.08-Mrs.M.Mate&Mr.Vijay Prakash guided and
prepared the students for this test. 07 scouts
participated in it,05 scouts qualified in it.

on 3rd.

inspired all scouts and guides and students to

Assembly.

Celebration of BharatS&GuidesFoundationday(Flagday)
on 7thNov,08. Mrs.M.Mate organized and
conducted the program.

On 30th Oct.08 World Thrift Day was
observed in the Vidyalaya by all scouts and guides and all
students. Mrs. M. Mate organised and conducted the program
in the morning assembly.

B.S&G Foundation( Flag)day-7Nov08 was observed
as
·
ThinkingDay.Mrs.M.Mate&Scout captain Mr.Vijay
Prakash gave a speech on the importance of scouts&GuidesMovement
in the presence of Vice Principal Mr.Ahmed and all
scouts&guides. BharatS&G Flag-stickers were
distributed among
alscoutsandguides,teachersandstudents.Refreshments was
also given to all scouts and guides.

Day of Disabled Persons-3 Dec08 was observed.
·
World Aids
Day-1 Dec08Mrs M.Mate gave awareness on Aids to scouts
& guides.
·
HumanRights Day -10 Dec 08 was observed.
·
Dwitya Sopan Test in Dec08 was conducted.
· On 3rd Jan 09, the birth anniversary of the first
woman teacher of India Smt.Savitri bai Phule was celebrated in the morning assembly.
Mrs.M.Mate gave a gave a speech on the occasion and also
organized& conducted the programme. All scouts
&guides, students,teachers, were all present in the
programme. The Principal Dr.A.R.Jena also spoke on the
occasion.

Youth Day (Birthday of Swami Vivekananda)-12 Jan 09Mon..
Mrs.M.Mate spoke on Swami
Vivekananda in the scouts and guides class.

On 26th
Jan09.-Republic Day celebration, the scouts and guides
saluted the National Flag and welcomed guests and maintained
discipline.
·
Anti
Leprosy Day-30 January09was observed.Mrs.M.Mate gave
awareness on leprosy to all scouts and guides.
·
On 22nd Feb, 09 Sunday -Mrs. M.
Mate,Guide Captain& Mr.Vijay Prakash
organized and conducted the Birth Anniversary of
the Founder of scouts and guidesMovement- Lord R.S.S.Baden
Powell in theVidyalaya ground.One day camp was also held
on this day. The Principal Dr.A.R.Jena of KV Silchar also
gave away the certificates of Tritiya Sopan Certificates ,Dwitya
Sopan, Pratham Sopan, Pravesh Certificates,to scouts &
guides on this day.
International
Women’s Day-8 March09 will be observed.
